+ The rooms were rather spacious + Very comfortable beds + New and modern design + Great value for money!
- The main thing that really bothered me was the noise. When we walked into our room the first thing we noticed was a weird loud sound. We tried to figure out where it was coming from and couldn’t figure it out. We tried to ignore it but it was very overwhelming and very loud. We tried to get some help from the staff but the guy from the reception didn’t really care about it and kind of dismissed us by saying it was probably just the fan in the bathroom (we knew it wasn’t but we tried to see if we could just get used to the sound as they were not willing to help). Unfortunately, the sound was too loud and we couldn’t sleep, so again, we tried talking to someone from the reception the next day. The lady seemed a bit more interested but not very concerned either. She came with us to the room and when she heard the sound she seemed relieved. She told us that it was just a generator that’s somewhere behind the walls. We asked about other rooms and she told us that apparently that generator can be heard in every room. So she basically didn’t provide any solution, she seemed very happy to have solved the case and just left us in the room wondering how we were going to survive a week in that room. As we had no other choice, we tried to get used to the sound. We found out that when the air conditioning was on it masked the sound of the generator so we kind of managed and with time we got used to the sound. It’s really a pity because the hotel is honestly great. It would be perfect for that price if it hadn’t been for that annoying loud sound in the rooms and staff that doesn’t really care about it.
